Jack Long served our country in the United States Army.

Jack Long was a Sergeant in the U.S. Army, working as a combat engineer. He served in the United States and in Europe during World War II from 1943 to 1946.

He also served his community through his membership with United Methodist Church where he held the title of Church Treasurer.

His funeral service at the Richard L. Fait Funeral Home was followed by a military veteran honor guard ceremony.

He was laid to rest in the Lakelawn Memorial Park.
