Carmen proudly served our country in the United States Army during World War II.

He retired as a Sergeant First Class, E-7.

He was a past member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #540, American Legion Post 392, and Veterans of Foreign Wars #813.

Following a funeral mass of Christian burial, full military honors were rendered by the DuBois Area Honor Guard.

He was laid to rest in the Assumption Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church Cemetery
