Area Man Escapes Injuries in One-Vehicle Crash on Rattlesnake Road

SNYDER TWP., Pa. (EYT) – An area man escaped injuries in a one-vehicle crash that occurred on Rattlesnake Road on Tuesday morning.

According to DuBois-based State Police, the accident happened around 6:14 a.m. on Tuesday, September 27, on Rattlesnake Road, west of Siple Road, in Snyder Township, Jefferson County.

Police say 38-year-old Adam J. Bojalad, of DuBois, was traveling eastbound on Rattlesnake Road as a deer came from the left side of the roadway into its path. The pickup struck the deer and came to a final rest on the roadway, facing eastbound.

Bojalad was using a seat belt and was not injured; however, front and side curtain airbags were deployed.

Brockway Fire and EMS assisted at the scene.

The pickup was removed from the scene by Zimmerman’s Towing.
