Arthur “Keith” (Pap-Pap) Fairman

Arthur “Keith” Pap-Pap Fairman, 76 of Punxsutawney, passed away suddenly on Monday, January 8, 2018, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

Keith was born March 6, 1941, in Creekside, PA. to the late Raymond and Elizabeth (Walters) Fairman.

He was a proud US Army Veteran having served during the Vietnam War.

Keith loved hunting and fishing in Cloe Lake and playing cards. He was an avid Steelers and Pirates fan, along with Texas Tech where he worked for twelve years.

Keith adored children and was the beloved Pap-Pap to seven grandchildren; Linzy Cox, Layna Toney, Josh Fairman, Mady Crawford, Daniel and Lauren McIntire and Kodi Crawford along with three, soon to be four; great grandchildren.

Also surviving are two sons; Douglas Fairman and fiancee’ Jada Guy of Lubbock, TX., Mike Fairman and wife Angela of Punxsutawney and one daughter; Valery Fairman of Lubbock, TX. One brother Norman Fairman and wife Jeanette of Perrysburg, OH., and his special friend; Judy Aldinger of Punxsutawney.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife; Patricia E. (Black) Fairman, one brother; Ralph Fairman and one sister; Betty Jo Wasiloff.

A Blessing Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 15, 2018, at the McCabe Funeral in Punxsutawney.
