HEATH TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Marienville-based State Police report a 45-year-old woman suffered moderate injuries in an ATV crash in Heath Township, Jefferson County.
According to police, around 10:40 p.m. on July 4, Dawn M. Hastings, 45, of Cranberry Township, was operating a 2000 Sportsman 4×4 south along Ames Circle when it traveled off the right side of the roadway and impacted several trees.
The impact caused Hastings to fall off the ATV and impact her head.
The ATV came to rest on the trees.
Hastings was transported to UPMC Presbyterian by Jefferson County EMS.
She was cited with a traffic violation.
