ELDRED TOWNSHIP, Pa. According to Marienville-based State Police, around 8:30 p.m. on May 24, an ATV and pickup accident occurred on Fisher Road (T-999), in Eldred Township, Jefferson County.
Police say 66-year-old James R. Dunlap, of Sigel, and 54-year-old Michael A. Selman, of Waynesboro, Pa., were involved in the collision.
According to police, a 2009 Suzuki ATV operated by Dunlap entered into the path of a 2006 Chevrolet Sierra pickup operated by Selman.
Police say Dunlap was not using safety equipment and suffered moderate injuries.
He was flown from the scene to Altoona Hospital.
Selman and a passenger, 50-year-old Rodney J. Simpson, of Brookville, were using seat belts and were not injured.
Sigel Volunteer Fire Department Rescue assisted at the scene.
