BLOOM TWP., Pa. (EYT) – State police responded to a one-vehicle crash on State Route 219 in Bloom Township.
According to DuBois-based State Police, 60-year-old Kelli L. Conley, of Curwensville, was operating a 2018 Subaru XV Crosstrek, traveling north on Route 219/Chestnut Grove Highway in Bloom Township, Clearfield County, around 6:47 a.m. on Thursday, April 9.
A deer ran from the west side of the roadway directly into the path of Conley's vehicle, and she was unable to avoid hitting it. Her vehicle then came to a final rest on the east berm of the road.
Conley suffered suspected minor injuries but was not transported.
She was using a seat belt.
The impact with the deer caused disabling damage to the front of the vehicle.
