BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – The Brookville Area Chamber of Commerce will host its first annual Brookville BBQ Bash as part of the PA Great Outdoors BBQ Tour.
The family-friendly day full of the best BBQ in the area, live music, activities for kids and a Backyard BBQ competition will be held from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, July 29 at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds at 1514 Route 28 North, Brookville.
The event is free to the public.
The Brookville BBQ Bash’s Backyard Throwdown is a competition for grill masters to show off their grill skills in their choice of three categories – steak, burger, and appetizer.
Competitors will present their dishes to a panel of judges for cash prizes.
For those wanting to compete, vendors interested in selling your BBQ-related product (knives, seasonings, sauces, cutting boards, etc.), or groups interested in hosting an activity please contact the BACC office at 814-849-8448.
