Bertha “Jean” Harvey Prutzman, 89, of DuBois, PA, died Sunday, April 8, 2018, at Nelson’s Golden Years.
Born on August 20, 1928, in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Archie O. and Grace (Bundy) Apker.
She was married to William T. Harvey, Sr. He preceded her in death on June 23, 1983. On January 19, 2002, she married Harold E. Prutzman, he preceded her in death on May 17, 2011.
Jean was a homemaker, enjoyed gardening, and was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church for over 40 years.
She is survived by three sons, William T. Harvey, Jr. and his wife Carol of DuBois, PA, John R. Harvey of Shinglehouse, PA, and David A. Harvey and his wife Mary of DuBois, PA; two daughters, Elizabeth G. Gaeta of Tarentum, PA, and Cathy J. Siple and her husband Rod of DuBois, PA; a sister, Carolyn DePello of DuBois, PA; a stepbrother, Ronald Thompson of Butler, PA; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her step-sister, Carol, and one grandson, John R. Harvey, Jr.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. with Pastor Jerry Small officiating.
Burial will follow in Morningside Cemetery.
