Betty Jane Brown, 69, of Punxsutawney PA passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born February 7, 1945 in Salisburg, PA, the daughter of the late Donald L. and Beulah (Paulhamas) Roupp.
She married Ronald Brown on June 16, 1962, who survives.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by five children, Kie Brown and his wife, Charolette of Punxsutawney; Tina Brown and her fiance, David Glatt of New York; June Wazelle and her husband Blaine of Punxsutawney; Ronald Brown and his wife Melvina of Punxsutawney; and Charles Brown and his fiancé Heather Frantz of Punxsutawney.
She is also survived by one brother, Steve Roupp and his wife Sherri of Jersey Shore, PA and by three sisters, Dorothy Confer of Rauchtown, PA; Jean Willits and her husband Ed of Antes Fort, PA; and Eileen Brown and husband Ernest of Trout Run, PA.
She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 15 Great-Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers David B. Roupp, Sr.; Torrence V. Roupp; Donald A. Roupp and Carl P. Roupp.
Friends will be received at the Richard L. Fait Funeral Home in Punxsutawney, PA on Saturday, October 11, 2014 from noon to 2.
The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, October 11, 1014 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Tom Spiker, Chaplain fo the Indiana Co. Visiting Nurses officiating.
A Graveside Service will be held at the Quigle-Roupp Cemetery in Trout Run, PA on Monday, October 13, 2014 at noon.
