Beverley Patricia “Patty” Filitske, 89, of Punxsutawney, passed away Friday February 11, 2022 at home with family.
She was born March 27, 1932 to the late Harry C. and Lenora M. (Summerville) Beatty in Punxsutawney.
Patty married Sylvester C. Filitske January 24, 1953. They spent 44 years of marriage together until his death February 5, 1997.
Patty was one of fourteen brothers and sisters.
She enjoyed being outside, sitting on her porch, visiting with friends and family.
Patty was soft spoken, good listener, enjoyed family gatherings and a woman of God.
She is survived by a son Bernard C. Filitske and wife Laurie, Punxsutawney, Anna M. Kennedy, Punxsutawney, seven grandchildren, Melissa A. Stouffer and husband Greg, Punxustawney, Nichole M. Manners and husband Chris, OH, Shon D. Kennedy and wife Jamie, Rochester Mills, Natalie D. Andrews, Meadville, Kimberly Kennedy Vallese, Pittsburgh, April C. Gabino and husband Charlie, Punxsutawney, Krysten S. Young and husband Todd, Punxsutawney and 21 great great grandchildren, and a sister Dianne Boddorf and husband Gene, and a brother-in-law Don Dimmick a sister-in-law Audrey Beatty and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son-in-law David B. Kennedy, twelve brothers and sisters, Clair Himes, Erlamon Kovach, Renaldo Beatty, Eloise Olson, Wilma Mancini, Lenora Godo, James Beatty, William Beatty, Marsha Buterbaugh, Bernard Beatty, Joanne Getch, Barbara Dimmick.
Friends will be recieved on Sunday from 1:00 PM until the time of service at 3:00 PM at the McCabe Funeral Home Inc., 114 Maple Ave., Punxsutawney, PA 15767.
Interment will take place at Lakelawn Memorial Park, Reynoldsville.
