Big Run Man Escapes Injury in Route 119 Crash

Blue flashing sirens of police car during the roadblock in the cHENDERSON TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police say a one-vehicle accident occurred yesterday on State Route 119, in Henderson Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, around 3:45 p.m., 20-year-old Brett M. Peffer, of Big Run, was traveling north on Route 119, and glanced down. When he did, he drove off the east side of the highway, and his 2004 Chevrolet 1500 pickup impacted a guide rail abutment. The pickup subsequently became disabled and was towed from the scene by South Side Towing.

Peffer was using a seat belt and was not injured.

A traffic citation will be filed against Peffer in District Court 54-3-2, police say.
