Bomb Threat Discovered in Girls’ Restroom at Punxsutawney High School

police_line_11PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. – Sources say a bomb threat was discovered today at the Punxsutawney Area High School.

According to a published article in The Punxsutawney Spirit, the threat was found in a girls’ restroom at the end of the school day.

Superintendent Dr. Keith Wolfe issued a statement indicating “the administration immediately notified the authorities and evacuated and secured the building,” according to sources.

After school events were cancelled.

It is unknown whether authorities found a bomb in the building.

Sources say the public will be notified concerning whether there will be a cancellation of school tomorrow.
