Britten Leads Brockway Girls’ Soccer Past Keystone; Brockway, Brookville Boys Also Win


BROCKWAY, Pa. (D9Sports) – Behind three goals and two assists from Chanell Britten, Brockway shutout visiting Keystone, 3-0.

Danielle Wood also added a pair of goals for the Lady Rovers while Amanda Decker, Emily Botwright and Lilly Sysko each scored once. Morgan Decker and Katie McMeekein each had an assist.

Mackenzie Overbeck made three saves to earn the shutout for Brockway.

WEST BRANCH 6, BROOKVILLE 0

BROOKVILLE, Pa. – Behind Olivia Straka’s hat trick visiting West Branch beat Brookville, 6-0.

Lauren Timlin added a pair of goals for the Warriors while Trinity Prestash also scored and had three helpers.

CLEARFIELD 6, BELLEFONTE 3

BELLEFONTE, Pa. – Elle Smith found the back of the net six times to help Clearfield over Bellefonte, 6-3.

Smith scored one goal on a penalty kick with Emma Hipps assisting on two. Megan Hamm, Jasmyne Wilbur and Lydia Brown each added an assist.

Mallory Smith paced the Lady Red Raiders with a pair of goals. Mia Johnson also added a goal.

BOYS’ SOCCER

BROOKVILLE 4, FOREST AREA 2

BROOKVILLE, Pa. – Tied at two late, Brookville scored twice in the final three minutes to beat visiting Forest Area, 4-2.

Bryce Kunselman scored off a feed from Zakk Wolfe to break the tie, and Logan Oakes then scored to put the game away. It was Oakes’ second goal of the game and came off a feed from Hayden Kramer.

Oakes also scored the first goal of the game off a pass from Wolfe and Garner McMaster also scored.

Noah Burke scored twice for the Fires including the game-tying tally with just 4:28 to play.

BROCKWAY 8, KEYSTONE 0

BROCKWAY, Pa. – A balanced team effort propelled Brockway to an 8-0 victory over visiting Keystone.

Jared Marchiori led the Rovers with a pair of goals and an assist. Noah Bash added a goal and two assists while Dylan Antonuccio, Garrett Park, Eric Young and Jonathan Knox each found the back of the net once.

Lewis Painter and Park split the shutout for Brockway.

CLARION-LIMESTONE 5, REDBANK VALLEY 2

NEW BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Paul Leonhardt had three goals and two assists to help Clarion-Limestone to a 5-2 road win over Redbank Valley.

Beau Verdill added two goals and an assist for the Lions with Bailee Verdill adding a pair of helpers.

Declan Fricko and Anthony Baileys had goals for Redbank Valley.
