Levi Roseman, a senior at Brookville Area High School, was sworn in by Mayor Richard Beck and junior alternate Dalynn Park, a junior at BAHS, was welcomed by the council.

Roseman spoke of working with council and asking them to bring challenges to him and others his age.

“You might be surprised at what we could achieve,” Roseman said.

Roseman competes for the Raiders golf team and the cross country and track and field teams.

He gave a report on some happenings at the high school, including homecoming festivities last weekend and the upcoming musical scheduled for November 10 to November 12.

“Seussical” will be performed at 7:00 p.m. each night. It is based on the books of Dr. Seuss that debuted on Broadway in 2000.

Park was introduced by Brookville K-12 Principal Ruth Ann Barbazzeni.

“I am happy to be a part of the council, and I look forward to being involved,” Park said.

Park is a member of the National Honor Society, an officer of the Class of 2018, is the President of the Ecology Club, and is in band and choir.

All the members of council welcomed Roseman and Park and said they were happy to have them part of the council.
