Brookville Borough Police Calls: Drug Incident, Public Intoxication, Underage Drinking

BROOKVILLE BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – Brookville Borough Police Department recently responded to the following calls:

Drug Incident on Pickering Street

Around 12:30 p.m. on October 10, Brookville Borough Police stopped a vehicle on Pickering Street for an expired inspection.

Police say through the course of the investigation, a passenger in the vehicle was then found to be in possession of methamphetamine.

Charges are pending through District Court 54-3-03.

Public Intoxication & Underage Drinking on West Main Street

On October 10, Brookville Borough Police were dispatched to a business on West Main Street for a report of an intoxicated person in the store.

Police arrived at the scene and spoke with staff, who reported the man had been stumbling around the store, knocking things off of shelves, and causing a disturbance.

According to police, after speaking to the man, it was determined he was both intoxicated and under the legal drinking age.

Police say charges of public intoxication, underage drinking, and possession of drug paraphernalia are pending through District Court 54-3-03.
