Brookville Laurel Festival in Full Swing

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – The Brookville Laurel Festival is in full swing with many family-friendly events planned for all ages to enjoy.

The Laurel Festival runs until Sunday, June 23.

The festivities kicked off on Saturday, June 15, with Art in the Park on Main Street, and have continued through the week.

Wednesday’s plans for Heritage Day saw some brief disruption due to traffic from an accident on Interstate 80 nearby, but the festivities went on despite the issue.

“Even with the accident on Interstate 80, when we weren’t able to do the street closure, things still went well,” Laurel Festival Secretary LuAnne Murray told exploreJefferson.com.

“We really want to thank PennDOT and the Brookville Police for working with us on the traffic.”

According to Murray, the week’s activities have all gone very well so far, heading into the big weekend.
