Brookville Man Crashes Truck into Tree

ELDRED TWP., Jefferson Co. (EYT) – State Police have released details surrounding an accident that occurred Sunday evening in Eldred Township, Jefferson County.

According to a report filed by Marienville-based State Police, around 8:29 p.m. on Sunday, February 4, 28-year-old Todd M. Barber, of Brookville, was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado south on State Route 36 when he drove off the right side of the roadway and crashed into a tree.

Barber was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was not injured.

He was charged with a lane violation.

The vehicle sustained disabling damage to the right front bumper and tire. It was towed from the scene by McPherson’s Auto Body.
