Brookville Man Faces Endangering Welfare of Children Charges Following Traffic Stop in Knox Township

policeKNOX TWP., Pa. (EYT) – According to Punxsutawney-based State Police, a traffic stop on Friday night led to the arrest of a Brookville man for DUI and related charges.

Police say around 8:30 p.m. on March 31, a known, 56-year-old Brookville man was stopped for a summary traffic violation, and during the traffic stop, he was suspected of DUI, as well as possession of a controlled substance. It was further discovered that he had two minor females in the vehicle.

Charges of DUI, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Related Paraphernalia, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, and Endangering the Welfare of Children are pending.

He also faces several traffic violations in conjunction with this incident.
