Brookville Man Allegedly Punches Woman Several Times in Head, Charged with Aggravated Assault

ELDRED TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Marienville-based State Police say around 4:30 a.m. on March 2, an assault occurred at a residence along Greeley Road, in Eldred Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, a physical altercation took place between 40-year-old Cliff Allen Greeley, of Brookville, and a 28-year-old female, also of Brookville.

Greeley allegedly punched the female several times in the head and then threw her on the floor and continued to punch her in the head, police say.

He was arraigned on March 3 in front of District Judge Gregory M. Bazylak and charged with the following offenses:

-Aggravated Assault, Felony 1
-Simple Assault, Misdemeanor 2
-Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Misdemeanor 2
-Harassment – Subject Other to Physical Contact, Summary

Unable to post $30,000.00 bail, Greeley was incarcerated in the Jefferson County jail.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on April 1 in front of Judge Bazylak.
