Brookville PD Seize Over $11,200 Worth of Meth, Heroin

BROOKVILLE BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – Brookville Borough Police seized 560 stamp bags of heroin as well as methamphetamine and numerous items of drug paraphernalia during a recent investigation.

According to a release from the Brookville Borough Police, they were assisting another law enforcement agency with an investigation when a known 29-year-old DuBois man was detained for a probation violation.

Police say when they confronted the man, he was found to be in possession of over $2,370.00 cash as well as methamphetamine. The man also allegedly informed the officers he was hiding an additional 560 stamp bags of heroin inside a coffee maker.

According to police, the heroin was then found and seized.

The man involved was taken to the Jefferson County jail, and charges of possession with intent to deliver, as well as other related charges, were filed through District Court 54-3-03.

According to police, the total street value of the drugs seized was $11,200.00.
