Brookville Police Calls: Drug-related DUI, Providing Fake Urine

BROOKVILLE BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – Brookville Borough Police responded to the following calls:

Act 64 (Drug) DUI on West Main Street

Around 10:54 p.m. on June 29, Brookville Borough Police were dispatched to the area of U.S. 322 for a call of a possible intoxicated driver.

Police stopped the driver in the pump area of the Sheetz gas station located on Allegheny Boulevard. According to police, during the investigation the driver was found to be under the influence of multiple controlled substances.

Charges of drug-related DUI and other charges are pending through District Magistrate Gregory Bazylak’s office.

Providing Drug Free Urine

According to police, charges for attempting to use fake urine for a drug test are being filed against a known 33-year-old DuBois woman.

Police say the woman attempted to provide drug free urine through a homemade device hidden on her body while submitting a urine sample on September 26.

The woman was placed in the Jefferson County Jail on a probation violation and charges are pending through District Magistrate Gregory Bazylak’s office.
