Brookville Police Calls: DUI-Marijuana Possession, HVAC Device Recovered

BROOKVILLE BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – Brookville Borough Police responded to the following calls:

DUI-Marijuana Possession

The Brookville Police were finishing a school check on Jenks Street around 11:23 p.m. on June 5 and observed a vehicle driving past with the rear taillight out.

Officer Gallagher conducted a stop on the vehicle and noticed a very strong odor of marijuana. The driver appeared to be under the influence, as well.

Through an investigation, the driver was found to be under the influence of marijuana as confirmed by blood test from NMS lab.

Marijuana along with numerous items of paraphernalia were also found in the individual’s vehicle.

Charges are being filed at District Judge Bazylak’s office for DUI and drug-related charges.

Police Recover Weighing Device for HVAC

The Brookville Borough Police recovered a weighing device used in HVAC or automotive repairs.

The owner of this property can claim the device at the Brookville Borough Police Department or by calling 814-849-5323 or 814-849-1616.

Details of the device are the responsibility of the person claiming ownership.
