Brookville Police Calls: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Marijuana; DUI Arrest

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – The Brookville Borough Police Department responded to the following calls:

Drug Arrest on Allegheny Blvd.

Officer Miller conducted a traffic stop on Allegheny Blvd. on a silver Mitsubishi for a traffic violation around 5:45 p.m. on November 12.

A subsequent search of the vehicle discovered marijuana, as well as drug paraphernalia.

The driver of the vehicle a 28-year-old New York, NY man was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, as well as several summary traffic violations.

A passenger in the vehicle – a 34-year-old New York, NY man – was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Brookville Police were assisted at the scene by PSP Punxsutawney.

DUI Arrest on Mabon Street

On October 30, around 9:42 p.m., officers from the Brookville Borough Police Department initiated a traffic stop on Mabon Street on a Ford pickup truck for an equipment violation around 9:42 p.m. on October 30.

The driver – a 41-year-old Brookville man – was suspected of DUI and was transported to the Brookville Hospital for a blood draw. His BAC (Blood Alcohol Content) was found to be 25% and the legal limit is .08%.

Police say he will be charged with DUI and other summary offenses.

A passenger in the pickup – a 45-year-old Brookville woman – was charged with having an open container in the vehicle.

Police were assisted at the scene by McPherson Towing.
