Brookville Police Calls: Man Accused of Huffing; Woman Charged in Domestic


BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) — Brookville Borough Police responded to the following calls.

West Virginia man charged with huffing

Police charged a 32-year-old man from West Virginia after he was observed inhaling toxic fumes for the purpose of reaching inhalation on North White Street Saturday.

Police found numerous canisters capable of intoxicating fumes in the man’s car.

He was placed in the Jefferson County Jail to await arraignment.

Police did not release the man’s name.

Woman charged in domestic incident

According to police, a 28-year-old Clarington woman was charged with disorderly conduct after an incident at a Cherry Alley residence at 2:18 a.m. Monday.

When police responded to the scene, a 45-year-old man, the victim, said he and his girlfriend got into an altercation in their residence.

The female was taken to the hospital for an evaulation. She was charged with disorderly conduct and harassment.

The woman’s name was not released.
