Brookville Student Charged in Shooting Threat Had “Homicidal Thoughts”

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – A 14-year-old Brookville Area student is facing terrorist threats charges in connection with a shooting threat at the school.

Brookville Borough Police filed charges on March 1 after police were notified of threats made by the suspect.

Mulitple sources alerted police of the suspect’s plans involving a potential school shooting.

Investigators interviewed the boy and he provided them with his plans and said he had “homicidal thoughts.”

The charges were filed through the juvenile court system.

The suspect’s name will not be released.
