Brookville Woman Injured in Rollover Crash in Warsaw Township

A moving ambulance on it''s way to a crash site.WARSAW TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – According to DuBois-based State Police, a one-vehicle crash occurred on Richardsville Road, north of Emerson Drive, in Warsaw Township, Jefferson County.

Police say around 4:31 p.m. on January 27, 44-year-old Kirsten A. Bremer, of Brookville, was traveling southbound on Richardsville Road in a 2003 GMC Sierra 2500.

According to police, she was negotiating a downhill left curve on ice/snow covered road conditions, and the vehicle’s rear tires broke traction, thus causing it to begin rotating counterclockwise.

The vehicle then left its lane traveling across the double yellow center lines and impacting the embankment with its left rear. The vehicle overturned coming to a final rest on its roof facing a northwest direction blocking both lanes, police say.

Bremer was using a seat belt and suffered injuries of unknown severity.

Jefferson County EMS transported her to Penn Highlands Healthcare.

Two female passengers, ages 16 and 11, were also using seat belts and were not injured.

Police were assisted at the scene by Jefferson County EMS, Warsaw Township Station 15, and Pine Creek Rescue 10.
