Car Slams Into Cement Barrier in Brookville

car-accident-graphic-5254_jpg_475x310_q85-300x225Brookville, Pa. (EYT) – Brookville Borough Police investigated a one-vehicle accident at 7pm on Wednesday, September 17 on Franklin Avenue near Main Street.

According to police, a male driver was traveling north on Franklin Avenue in his 2009 Lincoln MKS and as he approached the intersection with Main Street, a vehicle turned off Main Street and into his lane of travel.

The driver of the Lincoln attempted to avoid impact and struck a cement barrier along the east side of the street, causing moderate damages to his vehicle that required towing from the scene.

There were no injuries reported.

Police were assisted by Brookville Fire Company personnel.

The name of the driver was not released.
