Catherine Louise (Davis) Walton, 89, of Brookville, PA, passed away on November 20, 2021, while a patient at Penn Highlands Brookville.
Catherine was born on August 22, 1932, to the late Henry and Myrtle (Joiner) Davis in Brookville, PA.
Catherine attended schools in the Brookville area.
Catherine married John C. “Jack” Walton on May 29, 1954, in Corsica, PA, they were married for 62 years.
Jack preceded her in death on November 15, 2016. Catherine worked at the Glove Factory in Brookville, PA.
She attended the Evangelical United Methodist Church when she was younger, she taught Bible School.
Catherine was a very strong and tough woman. She enjoyed eating sweets and desserts before dinner. Above all else, Catherine adored her grandchildren.
Catherine is survived by four children; Pamela J. (Harry Faustine) Walton, K. Dawn (Glenn Lindermuth) Walton, Cindy (Jim Marino) Corcoran, and Cleve (Dayna) Walton; two sisters; Barb Bowser and Ginge Rowan; one brother; Jim Davis; five grandchildren; Amanda Sukanec, Joshua (Tina) Walton, Ryan Armstrong, Kelly (Lindsay) Corcoran, and Katie (TJ) Thomas; and ten great-grandchildren; Kaleb, Lily, Ava, Charlie, Stephani, Liam, Sophia, Nolan, Ella, and Owen.
In addition to her parents and husband, Catherine is preceded in death by one brother; John Davis.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, from 6 – 7pm at the McKinney – d’Argy Funeral Home, 345 Main Street, Brookville, PA 15825.
Internment will take place at the Pisgah Cemetery, Corsica, Jefferson Co., PA.
