JEFFERSON CO., Pa. (EYT) – Charges against a woman accused in an altercation at a residence in Punxsutawney Borough were dismissed on Tuesday.
Court documents indicate the following charges against 38-year-old Ashlea D. Heitzenrater, of Punxsutawney, were dismissed on July 21:
– Simple Assault, Misdemeanor 2
– Harassment – Subject Other to Physical Contact, Summary
The charges stem from a domestic incident that occurred at a residence in Punxsutawney on March 7, involving Stacey Heitzenrater and Ashlea Heitzenrater, who each reported being assaulted by the other.
The complaint notes both women had suffered injuries as a result of a physical altercation.
Court documents indicate charges initially filed against 41-year-old Stacey L. Heitzenrater, of Harrisburg, related to the incident were withdrawn on June 9.
