Charges Filed Against Man Accused of Pulling Knife During Confrontation in Sykesville

SYKESVILLE BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – Charges have been filed against a DuBois man who allegedly pulled out a knife during a confrontation with another man at a residence in Sykesville.

Court documents indicate the Sykesville Borough Police Department filed criminal charges against 26-year-old Austin James Duffalo.

According to a criminal complaint, around 12:03 p.m. on January 25, Sykesville Police were dispatched to a residence on North Park Street for a report of a man threatening another man with a knife.

The victim reported he confronted a man who was on his property without his permission, and the man, later identified as Austin Duffalo, then pulled out a knife and pointed it at him, the complaint states.

The following charges were filed against Duffalo through Magisterial District Judge David B. Inzana’s office on February 3:

– Simple Assault, Misdemeanor 2
– Harassment – Subject Other to Physical Contact, Summary
– Disorderly Conduct Engage In Fighting, Summary

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 11:45 a.m. on March 23, with Judge Inzana presiding.
