Charlene R. Halowell, 71, Falls Creek, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at her home.
Born March 4, 1950, in DuBois, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Evelyn (Minns) Crytser.
On February 22, 1969, she married Robert D. Halowell Jr. in Falls Creek. He survives.
Charlene graduated from the DuBois Area High School and Penn State University with a degree in business.
She had been employed by Riverside Warehouse.
Charlene was an avid scrap booker and loved the Victorian Era.
She enjoyed collecting angels, antiques, and reading, especially the Bible. Charlene was a member of Tri-County Church.
In addition to her husband, Charlene is survived by two children, Robert D. (Kimberly) Halowell III, DuBois, and Jennifer P. (Robert) Halowell-Altmire, Treasure Lake, and three grandchildren, Taylor N. Wascovich, Morgan C. Wascovich, and Mirandalyn J. Halowell.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Charlene was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Michael Leroy Crytser Sr.
There will be no public visitation or service.
Interment will be in Morningside Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Adamson Funeral Chapel and Crematorium.
