Christian Elliot Weiss, infant, passed peacefully from the arms of his loving parents on May 1, 2016.
After receiving his angel wings, Christian passed gently into the arms of waiting loving family members on the other side. He was born on April 30, 2016 at 3:47AM.
Christian was the son of Tia (Lamison) and Jonathan Weiss of Clarion. He was the answer to their prayers and they waited for his birth with joyful expectation. After fighting the odds to survive, the struggles of Trisomy 18 took his life after one love-filled day. During his short visit on earth, he was cuddled and loved by his parents, grandparents, a big sister, aunts, uncles, cousins and family friends.
Christian is survived by one sister, Jalynn Weiss, who was more than delighted to become a “big” sister. His maternal grandparents are Raymond and Karla Lamison and paternal grandparents are Penelope and Donald Gawelski , all of Marienville. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Chrystal (Bowser) Kilgore.
A private family committal service will be held on Saturday, May 7th, 11 AM, at Guitonville Cemetery. Reverend Boyd Edmonson will conduct the service celebrating Christian’s short, very loved, life.
