Initiated in the 1997-98 academic year, the PSAC Top 10 Awards are designed to recognize student-athletes who excel in both the classroom and in athletic competition. The Top 10 Award is selected by the conference’s sports information directors and given to five males and five females in each athletic season: fall, winter and spring.

Sather is a senior Childhood Education major and has a cumulative GPA of 3.61. This is her first career PSAC Top 10 honor.

The senior diver became the first Clarion national champion in the 3M Dive since Kristin Day in 2015, posting an astronomical 515.60 on the fourth day of the NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships. She became the 48th Clarion diver to win a national championship under Coach Dave Hrovat.

Sather reached a career milestone when the Clarion senior diver was named the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Division II Women’s Diver of the Year for the second time in as many years. A now eight-time All-American, Sather won her second career national championship when she placed first in the 3M Dive. She also placed third in the 1M Dive. At last year’s National Championship she placed third in the 3M Dive and was the National Champion in the 1M Dive.

Clarion is third in PSAC history with 58 all-time top 10 winners. Shippensburg University leads with 69 all-time winners with Slippery Rock (65) in second.
