Clarion U. to Start Search for Brown’s Replacement Immediately

CLARION, Pa. (EYT) – With the sudden announcement of Mike Brown’s retirement from the baseball manager position at Clarion University Wednesday, the university announced Thursday it would begin an immediate search for a replacement.

According to a release from the university’s sports information office, it will be a “comprehensive search”.

Additionally, in the release, interim athletic director Wendy Snodgrass thanked Brown for his nine years of service.

“My thanks and appreciation go out to Coach Brown for the dedication and commitment that he had to our baseball program,” Snodgrass said. “We wish him the best in his retirement, and he will be missed.”
