Genevro was an Academic All-American First Team selection while Craig as a Second Team selection.

The pair of Genevro and Craig represent the first time in program history that two Clarion players earned Academic All-American honors in the same year. The Golden Eagles have been represented on the list in five of the last seven years.

Craig (4.00, Education) finished the season with an average of 7.2 tackles per game, which ranked second only to Layne Skundrich, and his 72 total tackles also ranked second on the team. Craig tied for the team lead with five pass break-ups and was involved in a pair of turnovers, forcing a team-high two fumbles and recovering one of them. He had one of the best games of his career against Seton Hill on Oct. 8, finishing with 12 tackles and three pass break-ups, and followed that up with 16 tackles, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery against IUP on Oct. 22.

Genevro (4.00, Business), an Elk County Catholic graduate, posted one of the best seasons in program history at the wide receiver position, finishing the year with team highs in catches (65), receiving yardage (1,096) and touchdowns (13), the last of which ranked as the best on the team at all positions. He became just the third player in program history to top 1,000 receiving yards in a season, and this year’s campaign ranks as the second-best in that regard. Genevro’s 13 touchdown receptions are tied for second for a single-season in program history, and he graduates from Clarion ranking near the top of the list in career receiving yards (9th) and receiving touchdowns (tied 3rd).
