The TomBob Outdoors camera crew spent a day this past June, in Cook Forest State Park, filming an episode for Friends in Wild Places at the annual French & Indian War Encampment and battle reenactments on the grounds of the Sawmill Center for the Arts.
The series reaches over 75 million homes across the country via ROOT Sports, Pursuit Channel, and locally on WTAM ABC-23.
Pennsylvania Great Outdoors Visitors Bureau Executive Director John Straitiff made his co-hosting television debut on this episode and had this to say about the project, “It was a lot of work on very hot day, but it was also a lot fun.
