CAMBRIA HEIGHTS 42, DUBOIS CENTRAL CATHOLIC 27
PATTON, Pa. – Tara Renninger, Ellen Cordell and Taylor Forsythe combined to pour in 33 points to pace Cambria Heights to a 42-27 win over visiting DuBois Central Catholic in non-conference play.
Renninger netted 13 points for the Lady Highlanders with Cordell and Forsythe each chipping in 10 tallies.
Riley Assalone led DCC with a game-high 16 points.
A slow start doomed the Lady Cardinals, who scored just four first-quarter points and trailed 22-11 at halftime.
KARNS CITY 78, FOREST AREA 10
KARNS CITY, Pa. – Visiting Forest Area was no match for Karns City, as the Lady Gremlins rolled to a 78-10 win in KSAC Crossover action.
Karns City led 29-2 at the end of the first quarter and 51-6 at halftime.
Eight different Lady Gremlins scored led by 24 points from Emily Hegedus. Alyssa Gibson added 16 points, Mackenzie Craig 12 and LeeAnn Gibson 10.
Five different Lady Fires scored two points each.
