Darryl E. McCracken, age 58, of Troutville, PA died Thursday, August 19, 2021 at his home.
Born on March 18, 1963 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of the late Eugene and Helen Mae (Kramer) McCracken.
On March 15, 2001 he married Christina L. (Cain) McCracken. She survives.
He had worked for the Treasure Lake Property Association and United Parcel Service in DuBois.
Darryl was a member of the Middle Ridge Sportsman’s Club in Sykesville, PA, and enjoyed repairing lawn mowers and motorcycles.
He is also survived by his daughter (Bracy McCracken of Troutville, PA), and two stepsons (Bryon Frantz & his wife Trista of Troutville, PA and Robert Frantz of DuBois, PA), three grandchildren (Jackson, Kaylee & Isaac), one brother (James Beatty of Luthersburg, PA and two sisters (Nancy Hollopeter of Big Run, PA and Judy Kessler & her husband John of DuBois, PA).
He was preceded in death by one sister.
There will be no public visitation.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
The Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
