Deborah Ann Peace

Deborah Ann Peace, 69, of Reynoldsville, passed away at home with her loving husband by her side on Thursday, January 20, 2022.

She was born in DuBois on February 26, 1952, a daughter of Keith Merrit Niver and Dorothy Jean (Zetts) Niver.

On October 09, 1971, she married Rudy Devere Peace.

They enjoyed fifty years of marriage and looked out for one another through the ups and downs of life.

Debbie loved nature, going for walks and spending time with her dogs Mugs and Molly.

She had a green thumb and was able to revive plants and flowers that appeared to be a lost cause.

She enjoyed being home and welcomed family and friends that stopped by and always made sure to get them something to eat as soon as they came through the door.

In addition to her husband Rudy, she is survived by two sisters, Cheryl Olinger and husband Stanley of New Kensington, and Bonnie Reiter and husband Alton of Big Run; four brothers, William Niver and wife Carol of Punxsutawney, John Niver and wife Shelly of Big Run, Ward “Buster” Niver and wife Cathy of Sykesville and Daniel Niver of Punxsutawney; numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 2-6 p.m. Monday, January 24, 2022, at Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Big Run.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home, officiated by her nephew Ben Fitzgerald-Fye.

Interment will follow at Lakelawn Memorial Park, Reynoldsville.
