Delancey Post Office Vandalized for Third Time in Two Weeks

YOUNG TWP., Pa. (EYT) – State police are seeking information about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred Thursday afternoon at the Delancey post office in Young Township, Jefferson County.

According to Punxsutawney-based State Police, sometime between 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 26, an unknown individual(s) went into the lobby of the Delancey post office located on Adrian Road in Young Township and threw miscellaneous paper and trash over the lobby floor. There were also numerous plastic shelves broken, and damage was done to the handle/door of the employee entrance.

This is the third time an incident of this type has occurred in a two-week period.
