Delores M. Sette, 83, formerly of North Broad Street, Ridgway, died Sunday, March 18, 2018, at Christ the King Manor in DuBois.
She was born February 2, 1935, in Ridgway, daughter of the late Frank and Concettina (Curato) Sette. She resided in Ridgway all her life and was a member of St. Leo Catholic Church, the Red Hat Society and a member of the YMCA. She loved to play Bingo and enjoyed sitting at the Court House on the benches with friends and family. She was a 1953 graduate of Ridgway High School. She had been employed by Motor Coil in Emporium for 39 years.
She is survived by one son, Douglas S. (Linda) Sette of DuBois; four grandchildren, Benjamin Sette of Philadelphia, Stephen Sette of Pittsburgh, Madeline Sette of DuBois, Carolyn Sette of DuBois; one brother, Carmen Sette of Spain; three sisters, Dora (Anthony) Santiso of Ridgway, Viola Eckert of St. Marys, Mary Harrier of Emporium; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, John, Joseph, Dominick, and Patsy Sette; and two sisters, Rosie Iorfido and Mackina in infancy.
A Mass of Christian Burial and Committal for Delores M. Sette will be celebrated at St. Leo Catholic Church on Thursday, March 22, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. Officiating will be Fr. Justin P. Pino, Pastor of St. Leo Catholic Church. Burial will be at St. Leo Cemetery. Friends will be received at the Thompson Funeral Home on Thursday morning from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Memorials, if desired, can be made to St. Leo Catholic Church.
