Deloris M. Chatfield, age 87, of Walburn Run Road Brockway, Pa; died on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at her residence.
Born on December 16, 1927 in Westville, Pa; she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Stubbs Morris.
She was married to Clyde D. Chatfield Jr. and he preceded her in death on October 17, 2012.
Retired, she had been employed at Brockway Glass in the Corrugated Department for 30 years. Deloris was Methodist by faith, and enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
She is survived by four daughters: Mary Uplinger of DuBois Pa; Jean Pullman of Brockway; Janet (Dean) Liggitt of Brockway; Sheila (David) Knight of Memphis, TN; and three sons: Keith Chatfield and Gary Chatfield both of Brockway and Paul (Marlene) Chatfield of Cleveland, TN. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and her husband she is also preceded in death by 3 brothers, 3 sisters and a great grandson.
Calling hours will be on Friday, April 17 from 3-5 & 7-9 P.M. at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway.
The Funeral Service will be on Saturday, April 18 at 10:00 A.M. also at the funeral home with Pastor David Nagele officiating.
Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens.
Memorial donations may be made to the Moorhead United Methodist Church, Brockway Presbyterian Church or St. Tobias Church towards each church’s meals on wheels program.
