Dianna Louise Brown

Dianna BrownDianna Louise Brown, 49, passed away on May 30, 2016, at her home in Brockway surrounded by family.

Born on January 24, 1967, in Reynoldsville, she was the daughter of the late Thomas C. Nicholson and Bertha May (Smouse) Nicholson; she survives and resides in Dubois.

She attended Dubois High School. She enjoyed puzzles, reading, and murder mystery television shows.

On April 2, 1984, she married William A. Brown Sr. in Reynoldsville. He preceded her in death on April 21, 2014.

Mrs. Brown was employed at New Light in Dubois as a home health aide until her illness made it impossible for her to work.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her four children, Dianna (Jimmy) of Ridgeway, Sarah (Richard) Wood of Brockway, Amber (Doug) Myers of Chestnut Grove, Pa., and William (Starla) Brown of Luthersburg, Pa.; her sister, Sue Lynn Craft of Youngstown, Ohio; and her six grandchildren, Sammy Yates, Kaden Brown, Rayne Yates, Dante Yates, Mason Wood, and Baby Michael Myers.
Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

In addition to her husband and father, Mrs. Brown is preceded in death by her oldest daughter, Ginasue Yates; her only brother, Thomas James Nicholson; and her oldest sister, Georginia Ellenberger.

Furlong Funeral Home, Gregory K. Furlong, FD, 50 Broad Street in Summerville is in charge of the arrangements. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
