Dorothy Ann Miksich, age 81 of 1401 McCullough Avenue Brockway, PA passed away surrounded by her family, on November 28, 2015.
She was born on April 21, 1934 in Brockway, PA. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Anna Baka Pinchock.
Dorothy was married to John “Jack” Miksich Jr. on September 21, 1959 at St. Tobias church, Brockway PA and he preceded her in death on November 4, 1998. She was employed at Brockway Glass Company and was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Tobias Church in Brockway.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren in all their activities and sporting events. She enjoyed cooking and baking for the family, particularly for the holidays.
She is survived by 1 son: John (Kristin) Miksich of Brockway. 4 daughters: Teresa (Douglas) Johnson of Brockway; Sharon (Wesley) Wolfe of St. Marys; Mary (Timothy) Raffeinner of Brockway; and Patricia (Jeffrey) Korb of DuBois, PA. 12 Grandchildren: Melissa, Ryan, Brittany, Kayla Johnson, Nicole (Jason) Werwie, Derek (Maria) Miksich, Morgan Miksich, Natalie Wolfe, Hunter and Tanner Raffeinner, Kylie and Kaelyn Korb. 1 Great-grandson: Anden Werwie. 1 brother and 1 sister: Walter (Ann) Pinchock; Pauline (Dominic) Martino both from Brockway.
In addition to her parents and husband she is also preceded in death by 4 brothers and 1 sister: Edward, Marie Catharine, John, Benjamin, and Paul Pinchock.
Calling hours will be on Friday, December 4, 2015 at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway from 3:00 to 7:00 PM.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 5 at 11:30 AM at St. Tobias Church also in Brockway with Msgr. Charles Kaza presiding.
Burial will follow in St. Tobias Cemetery.
A Vigil Service will be held Friday evening at 6:45 PM also at the funeral home.
