Dorothy E. Leech, 87, of Summerville, died Saturday afternoon, December 19, 2020, at the Penn Highlands Hospital of Brookville.
Born in Elliott, PA, on February 21, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Matt and Elizabeth Wolf Saling.
On March 21, 1952, in Pittsburgh, she married James H. Leech. He preceded her in death on July 26, 2018.
She is a member of Pleasant Hill Bible Church.
She was employed by Radioear Corp. and Sensory Devices Inc.
Mrs. Leech enjoyed spending time with friends, playing cards, sewing, baking, and attending church activities.
Her survivors include a son, Dale (Kathy) Leech; a daughter, Donna (Donny) Lytle; three grandchildren; four step grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Those preceding her in death are her parents and husband.
Family will receive friends Tuesday, December 22, 2020, from 11am to 1pm at Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad St., Summerville, Pa. Funeral services will follow at 1pm at the funeral home with the Rev. Jay Bucci, officiating.
Covid-19 protocols and practices are will be observed.
Interment will be at Jefferson Memorial Park in Pleasant Hills, Allegheny Co., PA.
The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant Hill Bible Church, Sandy Flat Road, Summerville, PA.
