Driver Injured After Crash on Route 36 in Oliver Township

OLIVER TWP, Pa. (EYT) – An Ohio woman was injured following a crash in Oliver Township on Thursday afternoon.

According to Punxsutawney-based State Police, the crash happened at 2:22 p.m. on Thursday, November 2, on State Route 36 in Oliver Township, Jefferson County.

Police say 45-year-old Danielle J. Singleton, of Warren, OH, was traveling south in a 2020 Ford Escape when a deer traveled from the northbound berm onto the southbound lane.

Singleton’s vehicle struck the deer with its driver’s side front, police said.

Singleton suffered a suspected minor injury, but refused transport.

She was using a seat belt.

Police were assisted on scene by Oliver Township Fire Company, Jefferson County EMS, and Smith’s Towing.
