Driver, One-Year-Old Passenger Transported After Crash in Clearfield County

BOGGS TWP., Pa. (EYT) – An area woman and her one-year-old passenger were transported to a nearby hospital after a wreck in Boggs Township Tuesday evening.

According to Clearfield-based State Police, the crash occurred around 9:01 p.m. on Tuesday, October 24, on Crooked Sewer Road in Boggs Township, Clearfield County.

Police say a 2021 Mitsubishi Mirage driven by 19-year-old Brook I. Monoskey, of Houtzdale, struck a deer head-on that entered the roadway from the northbound travel lane.

The vehicle was disabled and Monoskey suffered suspected minor injuries from the crash.

Monoskey and her passenger—a one-year-old male from Houtzdale—were transported to Penn Highlands Clearfield for treatment.

The child passenger was not injured, police said.

Both individuals were using a seat belt.
