BURNSIDE TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – According to Punxsutawney-based State Police, a one-vehicle accident occurred around 9:21 p.m. on April 10, on Solley Road, 2559 feet west of Harmony Road, in Burnside Township, Clearfield County.

Police say 25-year-old Anthony G. Jarvie, of Cherry Tree, was traveling west on Solley Road and attempted to negotiate a right hand turn on the road when he encountered a tree limb on the roadway.

He swerved to avoid it, and his 2014 Jeep Compass hit loose gravel on the south side of the roadway, crossed both lanes of travel, and entered a small ditch on the north shoulder. Then, his Jeep struck a large rock and subsequently rolled onto its left side.

Jarvie suffered minor injuries; he was not using a seat belt.

The vehicle was towed from the scene by Smitty’s Towing.
