DuBois Man Killed After Car Crashes into House

BRADY TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A DuBois man was killed after the car he was driving collided with a house on Tuesday afternoon in Brady Township, Clearfield County.

DuBois-based State Police said James A. Goodford, 75, was traveling north on Carson Hill Road (SR-219), just south of Oklahoma-Salem Road, when he lost control of his 2009 Honda Fit.

Goodford’s vehicle exited the roadway and struck a construction sign before crossing over the southbound lane of travel and colliding with a house.

It came to a final rest on the west edge of Carson Hill Road, facing north, with its front-end against the house.

Goodford was pronounced dead at the scene by the Clearfield County Deputy Coroner.
